About CanoSphere

Discover the history and the project of CanoSphère, a canoe-kayak company with an eco-responsible commitment.

CanoSphère is a sharing project where we offer both hikes on the river and on the paths but also a cultural program, a gourmet terrace with its shaded reading corner at the edge of the water. This project also carries the civic commitment of 4 guys from the country who wish to share with you the richness of our valley while respecting nature and people. Our ecological sensitivity and our desire to make you discover the riches of the Dordogne, but also its weaknesses, have led us to work for:

In terms of of eco-responsibility :

• Fund environmental protection programs by donating part of the price of the walks you take with us. By favoring our walks, you are also ensuring that you are developing responsible tourism.
• Join different approaches and labels such as 1% for the planet.
• Create a short circuit economic model and transform our practices to minimize our impact on the environment (use of non-polluting products under the ""ecocert"" standard)
• Support the energy transition with 100% green electricity: For the operation of the nautical base and the guinguette, we chose Enercoop for its responsible energy model which is based on a 100% renewable supply and the involvement of citizens at the local level.
• Forge links between people and knowledge, notably by creating a place of conviviality and exchange at CanoSphère. Concerts, discussions and various events to promote the Dordogne.

Our professional experiences have regularly confronted us with the notion of hospitality. Like you, we have been many times the users of different tourist services.
